She believed if they knew Christ, things could turn around and that is where her mission began. She would pack her little car with a bag of clothes, one folding table and head out to the corner of Aldine Westfield and Parker. There she would set up and neatly place each piece of clothing for gifting. As people came, she always asked if they needed prayer or wanted to receive salvation. If you stop and look, just for a brief moment, you will see the need for CHRIST in the neighborhoods. Our mission is to bring the work of GOD into the dark areas and lead souls to salvation. Isa 34:16 'None of these will be missing." Isa 42:16 "I will turn the darkness into light before them." Satan is real and it is a war for the lost. People parish for lack of knowledge.
The clothing represents the LOVE of GOD. The word says "GOD WILL SUPPLY EVERY NEED" and Agape Outreach Ministry is just a vessel that GOD uses to show his LOVE and MERCY.
Just imagine something for a second. Imagine the impact of ONE person being touched and life dramatically changed from an outreach. That ONE person tells another person about JESUS and that person tells another. Can you imagine how the world could change? The devil comes to lie, steal and destroy BUT if everyone was to just accept JESUS as LORD and grasp the understanding of the unconditional love and mercy of our father, IMAGINE how much better and peaceful this world would be. I believe nothing is impossible with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Can you just imagine his heart leaping for joy ! Like the prodigal son that came back home to the father who was waiting with his arms WIDE OPEN, full of forgiveness-- our Lord JESUS is waiting for each and everyone of us. That is so awesome that somebody loves you, no matter what your background, past, race, religion or situation is. All he wants to do is LOVE YOU and ME ! Just like our earthly parents hug us and love us, GOD does the same except he puts no conditions.
